Global Initiatives

School of Engineering faculty frequently engage in research and teaching initiatives around the globe. One new intiative is the Global Innovation Network for Entrepreneurship and Technology (GINET), formed in 2013. Its mission is to create a global innovation network of entrepreneurial programs among academia, research and development, industry, governments, individual entrepreneurs and others. The group is focused on partnerships in a wide variety of disciplines, including health science, energy, information and communication technology, and innovation. Already, branches are open in Ecuador, El Salvador, Bolivia and Brazil that will promote GINET programs locally and foster partnerships with other countries.
