Internship opportunities

The School of Engineering offers many internships to students who are looking to gain valuable work experience that can translate into jobs after graduation.

A key program is the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Talent Expansion Program (STEP), which was formed from a National Science Foundation grant to increase the number of students receiving baccalaureate degrees in engineering and computer science.

STEP offers mentoring, conference participation, career development and paid internships to undergraduate students at the freshman and sophomore level. The program is designed to promote permanent posit ive changes in students’ lives.
