UNM Mechanical Engineering Student Donya Ziraksari Receives AIAA Scholarship

Donya Ziraksari, UNM undergraduate student is the 2011-2012 recipient of the Apollo Scholarship from the Houston section of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ziraksari is pursuing her degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering, and this $1000 scholarship will help her towards her goal.
Ziraksari has excelled in Applied Mathmatics and Physics and has studied at UNM since arriving from Iran four years ago. Upon completion of her B.S. she hopes to pursue her Master’s and focus on Nanotechnology. Her goal is to make new products and solutions that will help in people’s daily lives.
