Electrical and Computer Engineering Professor Sanjay Krishna Receives Awards

Sanjay Krishna, professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Regents' Lecturer, will be presented with the Young Scientist Award for 2013 from the International Symposium of Compound Semiconductors in May at their meeting in Kobe, Japan.
The award, which was established in 1986, acknowledges technical achievements in the field of compound semiconductors by a scientist under 40 years old.
Dr. Krishna is also an honoree for the BizTech Innovation Award from Albuquerque Business First for his company SKINfrared. Each honoree will describe their innovation at the BizTech Innovation Awards Lunch & Expo at the Hyatt Regency in Albuquerque on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
