Academic advisement changes for rest of the semester
March 16, 2020 - by Kim Delker
Due to the extended spring break announced by The University of New Mexico due to COVID-19, academic advisement for students in the School of Engineering will be undergoing some changes for the remainder of the spring semester.
To ensure the health and safety of our faculty, staff and students, academic advisement will no longer be conducted in person this spring. All advisement will be conducted via phone, UNM email, or virtually (using Skype or Zoom).
When making an appointment with an advisor in LoboAchieve, students will be required to specify in the comment area their preference for advisement by phone (include your phone number), Skype for Business (include NetID) or Zoom.
We look forward to ensuring that we provide you with the assistance you need to continue to be successful for the remainder of the semester.
Thank you for your flexibility and understanding of these important safety precautions. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your engineering or computer science advisor.
