Nuclear engineering professor’s research on advanced reactors featured in the Innovation Platform
March 1, 2023 - by Kim Delker
Research conducted by a nuclear engineering professor at The University of New Mexico on advanced nuclear reactors is featured in a recent article.
The Innovation Platform published “Integral and separate effects tests for advanced reactors” in its March 1 edition (Issue 13), which is about the work of Minghui Chen, an assistant professor of nuclear engineering.
The article expands on a project that won Chen a Distinguished Early Career Award from the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy last year: “ARISE: Advanced Reactors Integral and Separate Effects Tests — An Integrated Research and Education Program.”
