Chabi to present at workshop at the University of Arkansas this summer
May 22, 2024 - by Kim Delker
Sakineh Chabi, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, will give a talk this summer at the eighth annual SiC+X Materials and Devices Workshop at the University of Arkansas.
The workshop will be held Aug. 12-13 in Fayetteville, Ark. The workshop is focused on silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors and is co-sponsored by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Chabi was invited to present on SiC 2D nanosheets for quantum and related applications.
The two-day SiC+X Materials and Devices Workshop will bring together academia, government and industry representatives to discuss the latest research developments in silicon carbide materials and devices and other related wide-bandgap materials and devices. Those include materials growth and characterization, physics and modeling, processing, electronics, sensors, micro-electromechanical/nano-electromechanical, SiC and other related materials for photonics, optomechanics, and quantum technologies.
