Several professors receive promotions

Eight professors and instructors in the School of Engineering have received promotions.
Those promoted to full professor are:
- Jose Cerrato, Gerald May Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering
- Daniel Feezell, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Svetlana Poroseva, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Those promoted to associate professor (with tenure) are:
- Nick Carroll, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering
- Eirini Eleni Tsiropoulou, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Nathan Jackson, Department of Mechanical Engineering
- Christopher Perfetti, Department Nuclear Engineering
In addition, Ken Cooper, Gerald May Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, was promoted to senior lecturer.
Also announced recently was John Stormont, professor and former chair in the Gerald May Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, has been selected as a distinguished professor.
