Hire a Student or Intern

All UNM School of Engineering departments and programs help coordinate internships for our students. Some departments and programs partner with local companies to design and develop materials or collaborate on new technologies.

Since fall 2010, a $2 million National Science Foundation grant is transforming our undergraduate programs and immersing students in academic and professional environments. The NSF S-STEM program provides $5,000 scholarships and paid internships with the intent of retaining and graduating academically talented undergraduate students of low-income background.

For more information on how your organization can participate, contact S-STEM coordinator Kelly Cockrell, (505) 277-5383; kellycockrell@unm.edu.
