UNM offering new all-online master's of construction management

The University of New Mexico is offering an all-online master’s of construction management degree beginning fall 2016.

The degree will be fully online and will enhance students’ project-management skills. The courses will be offered in 8-week sessions and taught by UNM faculty and industry professionals. The degree program is designed to fit the schedules of working professionals, and it is possible to complete the degree in as little time as one year.

Required courses will include Project Controls (CE 577), Principles of Written Construction Documents (CE 574), Construction Law (CE 573), Construction Safety (CE 575), and Advanced Construction Equipment (CE 570). Additional courses will be offered as electives, including Project Delivery Methods and Sustainable Design and Construction.

Those interested can apply at www.unm.edu/apply. It is also possible to begin taking courses in the program as a non-degree student.
