Plamen Atanassov Honored by NM Business Weekly

Plamen Atanassov, director of the UNM Center for Emerging Energy Technologies (CEET), was selected as a 2011 Who’s Who in Technology honoree by the New Mexico Business Weekly. At CEET, Atanassov facilitates internal and external collaborations in fuel cells technologies and biofuels for energy conversion and power generation. CEET has $3 million in research expenditures, three research faculty, three postdocs and up to 15 graduate students. Research partners include the national laboratories, universities, and industry leaders such as Intel Corp., Cabot Corp., Diahatsu, and BSF.

Honorees were selected by a panel of local technology leaders and some of last year’s Who’s Who honorees.
