Canavan selected as 2018 AVS Fellow

Heather Canavan, an associate professor of chemical and biological engineering at The University of New Mexico, has been selected as a 2018 AVS Fellow.
AVS is an interdisciplinary, professional society that supports networking among academic, industrial, government, and consulting professionals involved in a variety of disciplines, including chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, all engineering disciplines, business and sales through common interests related to the basic science, technology development, and commercialization of materials, interfaces, and processing area.
The AVS Fellows will be honored during an awards ceremony Oct. 24 at the 65th International Symposium and Exhibition in Long Beach, Calif.
