Oishi receives inaugural UNM Research and Creative Works Leadership Award

Meeko Oishi, a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, recently received a Research and Creative Works Leadership Award from The University of New Mexico.
The honor was given a virtual awards ceremony on October 22.
The inaugural award recognizes faculty who, at the time of their promotion to professor or associate professor, have demonstrated exceptional scholarly achievements for their stage in their career.
Among the projects that Oishi is leading is a $5.5 million National Science Foundation project that focuses on improving how human and autonomous technology interact.
