Chabi honored as fellow of scientific organization

Sakineh Chabi, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been selected as a Vebleo Fellow in recognition of her contributions to the organization.
Chabi delivered the keynote talk, “From Graphene to Two-Dimensional Silicon Carbide,” during a webinar on graphene materials and technology held Sept. 24-27.
The honor includes being a committee member for future Vebleo webinars to advise on scientific matters, helping to select speakers, companies and journals to be part of conference activities, and conducting professional and outreach work.
Chabi’s talk will be published on Vebleo’s website and YouTube channel.
Vebleo is an international scientific organization working to encourage researchers, scientists and companies in the fields of science, engineering and technology. Vebleo organizes multidisciplinary conferences, webinars and exhibitions in the fields of science, engineering and technology.
