October 6, 2021 - by Kim Delker
The University of New Mexico is hosting the fifth annual Resilience Colloquium (RC5) on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Zoom.
The theme of this year’s event is “Innovations for Sustainable Transformations.” Additional information on the program and how to register can be found on the Resilience Institute website.
RC5 is organized by Mark Stone, Robert Stamm Professor in Advanced Design and Construction Practices and director of the UNM Resilience Institute. He is currently leading the recently-launched $15 million National Science Foundation-funded Transformation Network. The network will leverage community knowledge to develop resilience in the American Intermountain West.
RC5 speakers include a variety of researchers from around the country, as well as policymakers, including U.S. Rep. Melanie Stansbury.
