Tracy Mallette, a doctoral candidate working with Matthew Lakin, assistant professor of computer science, took one of the top honors in the recent LoboBITES Shared Knowledge Conference. Mallette, who is in the biomedical engineering graduate program, won second place for her presentation called "Left-Handed DNA May be the Right Way Forward.”
