July 19, 2024 - by Kim Delker
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Student Association is organizing a multi-day workshop Sept. 3-6 that focuses on developing skills in MATLAB and OPAL-RT.
The training will be held each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Centennial Engineering Center’s Stamm Room. It is open to both students and faculty, from beginners to experienced users, said Milan Joshi, president of ECE GSA and organizing committee co-chair.
The hands-on workshop will focus on performing high-fidelity, real-time simulations, as well as providing participants with the skills and knowledge required for advanced simulation tasks. The workshop also gives an opportunity with networking with industry professionals and other participants, Joshi said, who is working with Assistant Professor Ali Bidram in organizing the workshop.
Registration is now open through Aug. 23. The workshop is free, but spaces are limited.
Questions about the workshop can be directed to ecegsa@unm.edu.
