Biography
Served as the chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department from 1999 to 2005. He is a Fellow member of IEEE, a member of Commission B of URSI, an IEEE AP-S Distinguished Lecturer (2007-2010), and a Distinguished Professor at UNM. He most recently was associate dean for research in the School of Engineering and previously served as the director of COSMIAC (Configurable Space Microsystems Innovations & Applications Center at UNM). He became dean of the School in July 2017.
