The following trainings are open to School of Engineering faculty and staff following the JEADI Summit
Safe Zone - March 7 from 1 to 5. Location TBD
The Safe Zone training is a capstone program of the UNM LGBTQ Resource Center. The four-hour training covers topics such as Intersections of Identity, Microaggressions, the Coming Out process, creating equitable spaces for Transgender individuals, and more. Specialized trainings in the medical community and mental health providers are forthcoming.

Green Zone Trainings prepare university faculty, staff and students to better understand the experience of veterans, service members and their families at UNM. Participants will be able to better communicate the strengths, challenges and unique needs of our military-affiliated student population.
Dream Zone - March 3 through 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Location: Centennial Engineering Center
Understanding the undocumented student population and the issues that they face when working within an institution that has rules and regulations that might not fit properly with providing individualized services. You will receive information and resources on how to help undocumented students at UNM and in the community.
Serving & Advocating for Undocumented Students - March 25th from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Location: Centennial Engineering Center, Stamm Room. Register here
Seating is limited, please submit this registration form to reserve your spot at the training. Lobo ID will be required for entry. Please note that the first hour will consist of a presentation followed by a 30 minute question and answer session. Unfortunately, there will not be capacity for a Zoom/online option.
