Human-Centric Security Initiative talk to focus on social media, Web security research

"Security in the Age of Smartphones and Social Media" will be the topic explored Friday by the newly-created Human-Centric Security Initiative at the University of New Mexico.
Michalis Faloutsos, professor and chair of computer science, will discuss current faculty and student research on smartphones, social media and Web security.
The talk will be 4-6 p.m. Friday in the Centennial Engineering Center auditorium (Room 1041).
Human-Centric Security Initiative is a collaborative effort between the UNM’s Department of Computer Science, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Anderson School of Management, and Sandia National Laboratories.
