Shen announced as chair of Mechanical Engineering

Yu-Lin Shen, who has served as interim chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering since 2016, has been selected as chair, effective August 1.
Dean Christos Christodoulou sought feedback from faculty and staff in the department before making the selection.
“With his experience as an interim chair, Yu-Lin is very well-positioned to lead the department for the next four years,” Christodoulou said. “We all look forward to working closely with him to help move the department forward.”
