School of Engineering an organizer of peace engineering talk on May 29

May 21, 2019 - By Kim Delker

The University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management and the School of Engineering are organizing a Wells Fargo Speaker Series focusing on peace engineering.

The talk will be held 1-5 p.m. on May 29 in the UNM SUB. Discussions will be held on socio-economic policy, research and development in academia, and other subjects.

Opening remarks will be given by Christos Christodoulou, Jim and Ellen King Dean of Engineering and Computing, and Shawn Berman, acting dean of Anderson School of Management.

Peace engineering strives to work toward a world where prosperity, sustainability, social equity, entrepreneurship, and other areas are used to solve global challenges in new ways.
