Participate in a variety of School of Engineering events this spring

The UNM School of Engineering will be organizing a variety of events during the remaining weeks of the semester:

  • The Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 in Centennial Engineering Center’s Larrañaga Engineering Auditorium with a reception to follow in Stamm Commons.
  • Engineering Expo IX, a senior design poster and elevator pitch competition, will be held 1-4 p.m. in Centennial Engineering Center’s Larrañaga Engineering Auditorium and Stamm Commons.
  • Spring Convocation, the School of Engineering’s own graduation ceremony, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at University Arena. The ceremony will also be livestreamed at engineering.unm.edu.

And a recent addition in the School of Engineering is events planner Rebecca Colón, who joined us in March. The new position in the dean’s office was created to plan, manage and execute School-wide events, such as Convocation, Annual Awards, the upcoming dean’s lecture series and a variety of other events.
