About the conference

The 2020 conference will be held online via Zoom

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the conference will now be held virtually using Zoom (a video conferencing tool). It will be held online on Thursday 4/23/2020 and Friday 4/24/2020, and on Wednesday 4/29/2020.

This conference is part of a long series of successful annual conferences by the ASEE Gulf-Southwest (GSW) Section. The ASEE GSW Section is one of the most active ASEE sections.

  • The conference will be attended by faculty members, administrators, staff, professionals and students from around the USA and even beyond.
  • The conference provides opportunities for faculty members and staff to publish and present on educational projects and classroom innovations and updates.
  • It also provides opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to publish and present their technical research.
  • There will be monetary awards for both faculty and student paper presentations (including poster presentations).
  • Registration costs include meals.
  • All papers will be refereed and included in the ASEE main portal for conference papers (i.e. searchable).
